Home   /   ‘Beauty Culture’ Career Course after 12th.

For centuries, women have been using varieties of natural herbs to enhance their beauty and personality. Primarily, they give importance to those parts of the body that are openly visible; like hair, eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, face, nails of fingers and toes, etc. They use haldi as a face mask, nail paints, mehendi for hands and hair, make-up, and ornaments of all kinds so that they look beautiful and attractive. The trend is continued in modern times as well.

The main objective of imparting skills and knowledge to aspirants attending this course is to help them getting employment as beauticians. The added benefit is that along with working with giants in the salon industry, these trainees can also start their own parlours. The number of girls – educated or not much educated – who are attending such courses is increasing day by day. It only goes to show the popularity of this profession. According to FICCI report, beauty and wellness is an 11,000-crore industry and constantly growing at a rate of 30-35% annually. Further, due to new scientific development, professionals in this field are generating revenues in the larger order.
